NOTES:

“Lucida Sans Unicode” and “Microsoft Sans Serif” are standard fonts common to later model Microsoft Windows Internet computers. “Tahoma” is a standard font common to all Microsoft Windows Internet computers. To get enhanced versions of these three fonts which display all 31 of the above diacritic characters correctly (Lucida Sans Unicode Plus, Microsoft Sans Serif Plus, and Tahoma Plus), download and install “fonts.zip.” However, even after installing these enhanced versions you will only see an improvement in the above table of 31 Sanskrit diacritic characters if you are using the “devotee friendly” web browsers, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox 3, because “devotee hostile” web browsers, such as Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox 2 are incapable of doing automatic character substitution.

“Segoe UI” (SegoeUI.zip) made it’s appearance with the advent of Microsoft Vista and MS Word 2007.
