Note: This recipe is very similar to “A Delicious Can of Vegetables for Those with No Time” (http://llbest.com/HotCerealFTWNT.htm), except that no grains, legumes or curry powder are used and 100% instant mashed potato flakes have been substituted for a combination of instant oatmeal / instant poptatoes.

Don’t let the simplicity of this Ekādaśī recipe fool you. It’s incredibly delicious.
This recipe uses a microwavable, disposable paper bowl* and a disposable plastic spoon* as the only cooking / eating utensils. It doesn’t require any perishable ingredients such as fresh vegetables or dairy products (Butter will keep for months in the freezer!), so you only need to stock up on groceries once every few weeks!
1. Add ½ teaspoon of salt to a 20 oz. disposable paper bowl*.
2. Add ½ teaspoon ground turmeric.
3. Add ¼ teaspoon ground cumin.
4. Add ¼ teaspoon ground coriander.
5. Add ¼ teaspoon of ground ginger.
6. Add ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, cayenne pepper or hot chili powder.
7. Shake the bowl in order to distribute the spices somewhat evenly while simultaneously tapping the bowl on the countertop to eliminate lumps.
8. Add 2 tablespoons (¼ stick) of butter.
9. Microwave until the butter is completely melted.
10. Add a 15 oz. can of vegetables which doesn’t contain any legumes (peas or beans) or grains (corn) such as sliced carrots, cut green asparagus spears, diced tomatoes or diced potatoes. (Including the liquid.)
11. Add between ⅓ and ½ cup of
12. Add ¼ cup of powdered milk. (optional)
13. Mix using a disposable plastic spoon¹.
14. Using your fingers, break off chunks from a solid block of American style cheese, such as Kraft® Velveeta,™ placing them in a pile in the center of the bowl² on top of the other ingredients. (optional)
15. Microwave on high for 2 minute.
16. Serve while still warm including the plastic spoon.
